Company history

Established in Bogotá Colombia as a company dedicated to the manufacturing of Safety Valves. Gained presence in several countries throughout Central and South America by exporting Pressure Relief Devices.

Started manufacturing Pressure Reducing valves and Boiler Blowdown valves.

Developed and incorporated into its portfolio of products Pressure Reducing valves for the water works industry, amongst other applications.

Began ISO 9000 certification process, the certificate was granted in quality assurance. TECVAL is currently a ISO 9001 holder.

Started exporting to the North American market under an agreement with Spence Engineering Co. for the manufacturing of Direct Acting Pressure Reducing valves.

Participated in ASHRAE Show in Orlando, initiating exports to Canada.

Developed Automatic Electronic Valve Tester for Pressure Relief Device testing and calibrating.The calibration service with this equipment was offered to various local industries.

Designed and manufactured Test Bench for Safety Valves for Reficar Refinery in Cartagena / ECOPETROL, Colombia.

Designed and manufactured Test Bench for Safety Valves for Reficar in Barrancabermeja / ECOPETROL, Colombia.

Designed and manufactured Test Bench for Safety Valves for Luján Refinery, REPSOL / Argentina.

Culminated design and development of Pressure Regulating valves, Series-850.

Designated as official LESER representative for Colombia.

Expands portfolio of services to include Computerized Diagnosis of Control Valves and Control Valve maintenance.

Signed strategic alliance with German manufacturers KITO and REMBE, expanding the product offering.

Began exports to Israel and Singapore. Participated in ACHEMA trade show, were new brands were integrated into the portfolio of products.

Boiler Blowdown Valves, VP-Series are certified under CRN (Canadian Registration Number).

Granted ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety certifications with Bureau Veritas.

Granted by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors UV- Stamp for Safety-Relief Valve Assembly.

Developed software selection programs for selection of Safety Valves, Safety-Relief Valves, Pressure Reducing Valves, Pressure Regulators, amongst other devices.

Developed cloud-based software solution for record keeping and downloading of test and repair certificates.

Expanded Repair Center network to Barranquilla, Colombia. Designed and manufacturer automated full flow Test Bench for REPSOL-YPF, Transport Division, Argentina.

Granted Resolution 1166:2006 and Resolution 1127:2007 with Bureau Veritas.
